This article provides you with steps to manage DNS records in Plesk.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Adding and Modifying DNS Records<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

For each new domain name, Plesk automatically creates a DNS zone in accordance with the settings configured by your service provider. The domain names should work fine with the automatic configuration. However, if you use Plesk NS server and need to perform custom modifications in the domain name zone, you can do that in your control panel.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 1<\/strong>– Login to Plesk.<\/span><\/p>\n

  • Login with username and password received when you completed your subscription.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Step 2<\/strong>– Click on Hosting and\u00a0<\/strong>DNS\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

      TIP:<\/strong> To modify the properties of a resource record click on the record.<\/p>\n

      In addition to the resource records described above, there is also a Start of Authority record. This record indicates that this DNS name server is responsible for the domain\u2019s DNS zone.
