There are several reasons why you are unable to receive emails when using your cPanel webmail. In this article, we will look at a few of these reasons, as well as provide possible solutions.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Is your domain’s DNS pointed correctly for email routing?<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

You have recently transferred from a different host or maybe moved from one hosting platform to another internally \u00a0you would need to make sure that your domain points to this current package for it’s emails.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 1- <\/strong>Type\u00a0<\/span>cmd\u00a0<\/strong>on the Start menu to open a Command Prompt.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Step 2 –\u00a0<\/strong>Type ping mail.yourdomain.co.za<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

** replace<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/b>mail.yourdomain.co<\/a>.za with\u00a0<\/span><\/b>your<\/strong><\/span><\/span>\u00a0actual domain name<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Step 3\u00a0<\/strong>– Confirm this is the same as the IP address within your cPanel.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Is your email account over the disk quota?<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

Each domain email account is created with a set quota. This quota was set when you created the email account in your account\u2019s control panel. The quota can be set to a fixed size or unlimited.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The most common reason incoming emails are not being received is that the email account has exceeded its quota.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
