Type:<\/span>\n<pre data-identifyelement=\"477\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica,sans-serif;\">   ipconfig \/flushdns<\/span><\/pre>\n<\/li>\n<li data-identifyelement=\"478\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">You will see a message containing the following:<br data-identifyelement=\"479\" \/>&#8220;Windows IP Configuration Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache.&#8221;<\/span><\/li>\n<li data-identifyelement=\"480\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">Type &#8220;exit&#8221; to close the prompt.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica,sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-identifyelement=\"481\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #16c4de;\">Flush DNS in Mac OS X:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul data-identifyelement=\"482\">\n<li data-identifyelement=\"483\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">Click on Finder in the dock.<\/span><\/li>\n<li data-identifyelement=\"484\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">Click on Macintosh HD.<\/span><\/li>\n<li data-identifyelement=\"485\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">Click on Applications.<\/span><\/li>\n<li data-identifyelement=\"486\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">Click on Utilities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li data-identifyelement=\"487\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">Double-click on Terminal.<br data-identifyelement=\"488\" \/>In Mac OSX Leopard, you can use the following command to flush the DNS resolver cache:<\/span>\n<pre data-identifyelement=\"489\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica,sans-serif;\">   dscacheutil -flushcache <\/span><\/pre>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">In Mac OSX versions 10.5.1 and before, the following command performs the same task:<\/span><\/p>\n<pre data-identifyelement=\"490\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica,sans-serif;\">   lookupd -flushcache <\/span><\/pre>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-identifyelement=\"491\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #16c4de;\">Flush DNS in Linux:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul data-identifyelement=\"492\">\n<li data-identifyelement=\"493\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">In Linux, the nscd daemon manages the DNS cache. To flush the DNS cache, restart the nscd daemon.
