What is SFTP?<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

SSH File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) is a secure file transfer protocol for file access, transfer, and management. It adapts the Secure Shell (SSH) protocol with encryption and secure authentication on both server and client.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 1<\/strong> –\u00a0<\/span>Open FileZilla client<\/span><\/p>\n

SSL Certificate Installation for FileZilla<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Once you enroll for SSL certificate, SSL provider sends you a .pem file in the email that contains the intermediate and primary certificate.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Open\u00a0FileZilla server Options<\/strong> in FileZilla Server and browse and click on\u00a0Edit > Settings<\/strong>.<\/span>

  3. You will have a\u00a0FileZilla server Options\u00a0<\/strong>window, on the left side select\u00a0SSL\/TLS settings<\/strong>.<\/span>

  4. On the right side, select\u00a0Enable FTP over SSL\/TLS support<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. In\u00a0Private Key<\/strong> file, browse the location of the key file (created at the time of CSR).<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. In Certificate file box, enter .pem certificate file.<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Enter Key Password in\u00a0Key Password box. (Note \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>not applicable for the CSR generated using OpenSSL<\/strong>)<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
  8. Click on the OK button and Restart the server.<\/span><\/li>\n
  9. Your SSL certificate is now installed.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
