This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to backup your emails using the Email Archive solution.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 1<\/strong>: Log into the<\/span>\u00a0Email Archive dashboard<\/a>\u00a0using the email address that you’ve received the welcome email. This is typically the main email address on your 1-grid profile.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 2<\/strong>: Click on Add Backup<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 3<\/strong>: Sign in to your email address that you wish to backup by selecting the appropriate option. For this example, we will be using “Other”.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 4<\/strong>: Click on Advanced setting<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\n

Step 5:<\/strong> Enter the required information:<\/span><\/p>\n

Protocol = IMAP<\/span><\/p>\n

Security = None<\/span><\/p>\n

Port = 143<\/span><\/p>\n

Security = SSL<\/span><\/p>\n

Port = 993<\/span><\/p>\n

Host = The IP address or server name of the server you are doing the backup from e.g.<\/span>\u00a0mail.example.net<\/a>\u00a0(replace<\/span>\u00a0example.net<\/a>\u00a0with your domain name)<\/span><\/p>\n

Click on Save<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 6<\/strong>: Enter the email address and its password on that server you are backing up from:<\/span><\/p>\n

Click on Start Backup<\/span><\/p>\n

That’s it! The emails will now be backed up to the cloud where it can be restored at a later stage<\/span><\/p>\n
