This article will show you how to adjust the time interval that Outlook automatically checks the send and receive<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Microsoft Outlook will automatically schedules a send\/receive for\u00a0<\/span>every 30 minutes<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

However, the default send\/receive interval may not meet some Outlook users\u2019 need, for example they may require Microsoft Outlook scheduling automatically send\/receive every 10 minutes, or every hour, etc.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Step 1.<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Click the\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Send and Receive Groups<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0> Define Send and receive Groups on the Send and Receive tab.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Step 2.<\/span>\u00a0In the Send and Receive Groups dialog box<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Click to highlight the send and receive group that you will change its automatic send and receive interval in the group list.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Make sure the option of\u00a0Schedule an automatic send and receive every x minutes\u00a0<\/strong>is checked, and enter your required send and receive interval time in the box in this option. For example, if you need Microsoft Outlook scheduling automatic send and receive every hour, just enter 60 in the box.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  3. It\u2019s optional to check the option of\u00a0Schedule an automatic send and receive every x minutes\u00a0<\/strong>in the\u00a0When Outlook is Offline\u00a0<\/strong>section, and enter a send\/receive interval time in the box<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
