7. Legal and Regulatory Disclosures
  1. 7.1 1-grid may disclose personal information where required or permitted by Applicable Laws, legal process, lawful requests from competent authorities, or regulatory obligations.

  3. 8.3 Personal data shall be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including the provision of Services, compliance with legal obligations, resolution of disputes, enforcement of agreements, maintenance of security, and legitimate business purposes.

  9. 8.5 Following cancellation or termination of an Account or Services, personal data may be placed in a restricted, archived, or deactivated status within 1-grid’s systems. Such status does not necessarily mean that the personal data has been permanently deleted. 1-grid may continue to retain such information where required or permitted by Applicable Laws, for lawful business purposes, or for the resolution of disputes, enforcement of agreements, fraud prevention, security monitoring, or compliance obligations.

9. How to Access, Update, Transfer or Delete Information
  1. 9.1 Customers may access, update, or correct certain personal data at any time through the applicable customer account portal or by contacting 1-grid using the prescribed communication channels.
  2. 9.2 Requests for deletion of Personal Information may be submitted to 1-grid at any time. Such requests shall be subject to Applicable Laws, which may require or permit the continued retention of certain information, as well as operational requirements, contractual obligations, fraud prevention measures, dispute resolution processes, security considerations, and the continued provision of Services.
  3. 9.3 1-grid may refuse or limit deletion requests where retention of the information is required or permitted by law, necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal rights, required for legitimate business purposes, or necessary to continue providing Services.
  4. 9.4 Customers may request restrictions on the processing of their personal data in circumstances permitted by Applicable Laws. Where processing is restricted, 1-grid may continue storing the relevant personal data where legally permitted or required.
  5. 9.5 Subject to Applicable Laws and reasonable verification requirements, Customers may request a copy of certain personal data held by 1-grid in a commonly used electronic format or request transfer of such personal data to another responsible party where technically feasible.
  6. 9.6 Where personal data has been provided to 1-grid by a third party, the relevant data subject may request correction, deletion, or restriction of such data in accordance with Applicable Laws and subject to appropriate verification procedures.
  7. 9.7 1-grid may require reasonable proof of identity before processing requests relating to personal data in order to protect privacy, security, and the rights of other persons.
10. Communication with Customers
  1. 10.1 1-grid may communicate with Customers directly or through authorised third-party service providers for purposes relating to the provision, administration, support, maintenance, security, billing, renewal, or management of Services.
  2. 10.2 Communication may be delivered through one or more of the following channels:
  3. 10.2.1 Email;
  4. 10.2.2 SMS or text messages;
  5. 10.2.3 Telephone calls;
  6. 10.2.4 Customer account notifications;
  7. 10.2.5 Push notifications through applications or platforms operated by or on behalf of 1-grid;
  8. 10.2.6 Any other lawful electronic communication method provided by the Customer.
  9. 10.3 1-grid may send Customers marketing, promotional, product-related, service-related, educational, or informational communications where permitted by Applicable Laws.
  10. 10.4 Customers may opt out of receiving direct marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe functionality contained in such communication, adjusting communication preferences within the Customer account portal, or contacting 1-grid directly.
  11. 10.5 Opting out of marketing communications shall not prevent 1-grid from sending transactional, operational, legal, billing, security, or service-related communications necessary for the administration or provision of Services.
  12. 10.6 The Customer acknowledges and agrees that communications transmitted electronically may not always be secure, uninterrupted, timely, or error-free.
11. Data Security Incidents and Breaches
  1. 11.1 1-grid shall take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
  2. 11.2 Where a security compromise or data breach occurs and notification is required by Applicable Laws, 1-grid shall notify affected persons and/or relevant authorities as soon as reasonably possible, where required by Applicable Laws.
  3. 11.3 Customers remain responsible for complying with any legal obligations applicable to personal information processed by them through the use of 1-grid’s services.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
  1. 12.1 1-grid reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy from time to time.
  2. 12.2 Updated versions shall be published on 1-grid’s website together with the applicable effective date.
  3. 12.3 Continued use of the services after the effective date of any amended Privacy Policy shall constitute acknowledgment of the updated terms to the extent permitted by Applicable Laws.
